Pastor Douglas Zurek is the Associate Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church. His primary responsibilities are: Inreach and Outreach Evangelism, Adult Education, and Care Ministry.

Pastor Zurek received his Bachelors Degree at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California in 1970; and his Masters Of Divinity Degree at Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul Minnesota in 1974. He has served Zion Lutheran Church in Albion Nebraska, Christ Lutheran and Luther Memorial and Christ Lutheran Churches in Syracuse, Nebraska; Zion Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg, Kansas; and Trinity Lutheran Church in DeWitt, Nebraska; before coming to Trinity, Columbus in 1995.

He is married to Susan Ann (Brandenburg) Zurek who is the Parish Visitor at Trinity and they have two children.

His hobbies include tennis, guitar playing, reading and traveling to see family.
